Job Summary
Embedded Software Developer - Security role focused on designing, developing, and debugging software for High Performance Computer products, including low-level software such as drivers, hardware interfaces, hardware monitoring, networking, and tools. May act as project lead and provide guidance to less experienced staff. Requires 10+ years of embedded software experience and proficiency in C, C++, Python, and Go, with Linux development and RESTful API experience. Responsibilities include creating tests, debugging integration with application architecture, collaborating with management and external development partners, and mentoring teammates to deliver reliable, cost-effective solutions.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or equivalent
- 10+ years of experience in embedded software development
- Expertise with C, C++, Python, and Go
- Linux development
- RESTful API
- Strong assessment and problem-solving skills
- Designing software systems for multiple platform types
- Software systems testing methodology including writing and execution of test plans, debugging, and testing scripts/tools
- Excellent written and verbal communication in English
