Embedded Software Developer - internship

Job Summary
Simplify and improve existing legacy software for BLDC motor applications by reducing complexity and enhancing code quality. Assist in developing new features for internal tools, focusing on automation and improving development workflows. Support the design and implementation of software quality and audit tools to ensure traceability and compliance with standards. Collaborate with engineering teams by providing technical support for BLDC motor software development and create clear documentation for tools, features, and workflows. This internship includes mentoring, practical work experience, and opportunities to learn about corporate cooperation within the Brose Group's family culture.
Required Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
- Good understanding of microcontrollers and their peripherals along with Embedded C programming
- Basic understanding of electronics and electronic components
- Basic programming experience in Embedded C, C and Python
- Interest in embedded systems and/or software quality processes
- Strong communication skills with a proactive attitude and willingness to learn
- Availability to work primarily onsite in Pančevo
