Embedded Service Specialist 1 (Medical Center)

Job Summary

Respond to routine, non-routine, and emergency service calls to diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and replace defective parts in security and building automation systems. Install projects as necessary, perform preventative maintenance on installed systems, and execute systems checkout for new and existing installations. Isolate and fix problems in malfunctioning equipment or software, completing accurate service reports for invoicing and job cost tracking. May provide custom system integrations, upgrade planning, and database management while adhering to federal, state, and local regulations.

Required Qualifications

  • High School/GED or equivalent experience
  • 1-3 years relevant
  • Experience in 1 or more of the following industries: electronic, access control, intrusion and CCTV
  • Independently managed and successfully completed service-related work associated with system installations for a minimum of six (6) months
  • Experience with Bosch intrusion detection and alarm systems
  • Experience with Lenel access control systems
  • Experience with Axis and Avigilon systems

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience working in healthcare or other mission-critical environments
  • Proven ability to independently perform and complete service work related to security system installations
  • Industry-recognized certifications, including manufacturer-specific or professional security certifications
  • High-Level of customer service in Hospital healthcare environment
