Job Summary

Conduct DO-178C SOI-2 certification reviews for Time-Sensitive Networking (TSN) software on safety-critical avionics platforms. Evaluate system, high-level, and low-level requirements authoring for networking stacks including IEEE 802.1AS, Qbv, Qav, and ENETC drivers. Verify software architecture and detailed design compliance with coding standards while reviewing bidirectional requirements traceability. Collaborate with software, systems, FPGA, and certification teams to ensure adherence to DO-178C lifecycle objectives. This role supports Arrow's Sensor-to-Sunset initiative by enabling edge-to-cloud capabilities for global clients.

Required Qualifications

  • Viable candidates for this position must be eligible for an export license or be a U.S. Person (which includes but is not limited to U.S. citizens or nationals, lawful permanent residents, refugees, and asylees)
  • Must be able to travel to an Arrow Client office location as requested by Arrow Client leadership

  • The role involves reviewing TSN software components such as IEEE 802.1AS (gPTP), IEEE 802.1Qbv Time-Aware Shaper, IEEE 802.1Qav Credit-Based Shaper, IEEE 802.1CB FRER, ENETC drivers, LOS-178 networking stack, and LCS components
  • System, High-Level Requirements (HLR) and Low-Level Requirements (LLR) Authoring for Networking and TSN
  • Verify software architecture and detailed design compliance
  • Work closely with software, systems, FPGA, and certification teams
