Job Summary
Join a dynamic team as an Embedded Engineer focused on developing robust electrical systems for autonomous defense applications. The role requires designing electrical schematics and PCB layouts while developing real-time embedded software in C++ and Python. Responsibilities include simulation and testing of electrical systems, leading PCB design, and performing extensive debugging in lab and field environments. The ideal candidate has over 3 years of experience in electrical and firmware design, strong skills in schematic design, and proficiency in simulation tools. A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field is required.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in electrical and firmware design
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
- Knowledge of microcontroller-based control systems
- Expertise with electrical design and PCB layout tools such as Altium Designer, OrCAD, or Eagle
- Proficiency with simulation software (e.g., SPICE, ANSYS Electronics)
- Experience integrating electrical components with mechanical systems
- Hands-on experience with testing methodologies, equipment, and protocols
- 3+ years of experience in embedded software development with a focus on real-time systems
- Extensive experience in C++ and additional proficiency in Python
- Hands-on experience designing and deploying software for robotics applications
- Ability to integrate software with various sensors, actuators, and control hardware
