Job Summary
Email Marketing Manager at OpenArt to own and build the lifecycle email function from the ground up. This hands-on role requires managing campaigns across activation, onboarding, retention, monetization, reactivation, and churn prevention, including both one-off sends and automated lifecycle flows. You will connect email activity to product outcomes, drive activation and stickiness, and establish a measurement framework linking campaigns to activation rate, feature adoption, retention, upgrade rate, paid conversion, LTV, and churn reduction. You will segment audiences based on behavior, lifecycle stage, product usage, and purchase intent, write high-converting lifecycle copy, run experiments (A/B tests), and collaborate with Product, Data, Design, and Growth to align campaigns with product launches and growth initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- 3โ5 years of experience in email marketing, lifecycle marketing, CRM marketing, or growth marketing
- Experience owning campaigns across the full customer lifecycle โ activation, onboarding, retention, monetization, reactivation, churn prevention
- Strong experience building automated flows and triggered campaigns
- Deep understanding of activation, retention, monetization, and reactivation campaign strategy
- Ability to segment users based on behavior, lifecycle stage, product usage, and purchase intent
- Strong copywriting skills for email, subject lines, and lifecycle messaging
- Solid grasp of campaign analytics: open rate, click rate, conversion rate, revenue impact, cohort performance, and retention impact
- Experience with A/B testing and campaign experimentation
- Understanding of how lifecycle campaigns impact overall product growth
- Comfortable working cross-functionally with product, data, design, and growth teams
