Job Summary
Online, asynchronous Fall 2026 course EM110 VA2: Foundations of Teaching for CTF members. The course covers rights and regulations guiding the teaching profession in Canadian K-12 schools, provincial curriculum expectations, lesson planning, assessment, learning theories, and the principles of democratic classrooms, with an intentional focus on equity, diversity, and inclusion to develop global competencies of learners. Content and syllabus are pre-created for the online delivery, and assessment will be based on the candidate’s CAF, CV, and required documents. The appointment is a Fall 2026, part-time online course with an anticipated class size of 100. Required Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Education
- post-secondary teaching experience in Education
- teaching experience in an online environment
- teaching qualifications (OCT)
- K-12 experience in educational contexts
- Bachelor of Education and/or K – 12 teaching certification; teaching at the postsecondary level in an education program
