Job Summary
Adjunct Nursing Clinical Instructors needed for EMCC Bangor campus to supervise and instruct associate degree nursing students in hospital medical/surgical and/or skilled nursing settings. Responsibilities include assigning patients that meet educational/clinical requirements, planning pre- and post-conferences, providing regular feedback for performance improvement, and conducting final clinical evaluations. Positions cover Pediatrics, Obstetrics, and Medical-Surgical areas, with approximately 16-18 hours/week for up to 16 weeks per semester and start in Fall 2026 or Spring 2027. BSN required (Master’s preferred), Maine RN licensure, and CPR certification are required; clinical experience relevant to the area of instruction is also required.
Required Qualifications
- BSN (Master’s degree in nursing preferred)
- Current Maine RN licensure
- Medical / Surgical experience required
- Clinical Experience in a Related Discipline to the area of the instructor position
- CPR Certification
