Job Summary
Senior Associate in Audit of Tax at PwC. Lead roles delivering complex audits of tax for large, internationally diverse clients, with a focus on AoT work (50–100% of time) and opportunities to develop tax advisory work in tax accounting. Work alongside Directors and Partners across the national ATS network, coaching juniors, and contributing to best practices, training, and growth of the practice. Clear career path with potential progression to Director and Partner. Hybrid working arrangement with 40–60% of time co-located in office or at client sites; summer hours with a condensed day on Fridays in July and August.
Required Qualifications
- ACA, ACCA, CTA, ATT, or legal qualification, or international equivalent
- Audit of tax or tax accounting experience
- Understanding of UK GAAP and IFRS tax accounting
Desired Qualifications
- UK professional qualification (ACA, ACCA, CTA, ATT, or legal qualification), or overseas equivalent
- Demonstrable audit of tax or tax accounting experience
- Strong understanding of UK GAAP and IFRS tax accounting requirements
- Experience with international audits or tax accounting for large corporate groups
- Ability to coach and delegate to junior staff
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to build and maintain client relationships with internal stakeholders
