Job Summary
Complete and pass required training modules, then set up stations according to standard procedures. Scrap, sort, and load dishes into the machine, washing glassware, flatware, utensils, pots, and pans using proper water temperature and sanitizer measurements. Wash items by hand as needed, place clean items in designated storage areas, and break down the dish machine at shift's end. Maintain the dish room, clean and sanitize trash cans and dumpsters, power wash floor mats, and assist with spot cleaning throughout the building. Sort and remove trash to designated pick-up areas. Work evenings, weekends, and holidays on a flexible part-time schedule. Prior dishwashing experience and ability to lift up to 35 pounds regularly are preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Able to operate dish machine to company and manufacturer specifications
- Manual dexterity to quickly load and unload items
- Strong team-work orientation, coupled with the ability to work independently
- Able to work a part-time, flexible schedule that varies according to business need
- Able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Able to stand 100% of shift
- Able to reach, bend, stoop, and lift and carry up to 35 pounds on a regular basis and up to 50 pounds occasionally
- Exposure to cleaning solutions
- Frequent exposure to water
- Occasional exposure to heat and cold, inside or out
Desired Qualifications
- Prior dishwashing experience preferred
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Basic English communication skills
- Clean and professional appearance
