Job Summary
Lead IT strategy assessments and operating model reviews to improve technology effectiveness and business alignment. Analyse business applications, IT landscapes, and operational processes to identify efficiencies, cost reduction opportunities, and performance improvements. Develop, maintain, and evaluate IT financial models, budgets, and business cases, including scenario analysis and capital expenditure planning. Support IT projects and transformation initiatives by contributing to planning, costing, solution design, and implementation activities. Assess enterprise technology and data architectures to identify risks, issues, and opportunities for optimising business outcomes. Produce clear, insight-driven reports and board-level materials that translate complex technical and financial information into actionable recommendations for senior stakeholders.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience in IT strategy development
- Proven experience in operating model design
- Proven experience in technology-enabled business transformation initiatives
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess IT operations
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to develop financial models and budgets
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify cost optimisation and performance improvement opportunities
- Experience of business application design or implementation across key enterprise systems such as ERP, CRM, MI, Middleware, eCommerce or industry-specific platforms
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to synthesise complex information into clear reports, presentations and board-level recommendations
- Ability to work effectively in ambiguous, fast-paced environments
