Job Summary
Design Extra Low Voltage (ELV) systems including telecommunications, PAVA, AV, and security from conceptual to construction phases. Produce ELV calculations such as CCTV field of view, Wi-Fi heat maps, and recording capacity. Coordinate with architects, MEP, and BIM modelers using Revit and CAD to ensure compliance with local authorities like Etisalat and SIRA. Prepare ELV system packages including drawings, single line diagrams, and specifications. Liaise with local suppliers to adhere to client scope and standards. Join GHD's Abu Dhabi team for a three-day office week.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience in a design consultancy
- Minimum of 3 - 5 years of experience within engineering consultancy
- Commercial acumen to provide cost-effective security and ELV solutions
- Enthusiasm for staying up to date with the very latest updates about ELV systems integration and solutions
- Outstanding communication skills
- Ability to translate complex IT matters to those without an IT background
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Excellent written and verbal skills
- Ability to communicate complex issues concisely
- Work well under pressure
- Work well with colleagues
- Revit & CAD design
