ELV Application Engineer

Job Summary
Design, configure, and implement ELV systems including CCTV, Access Control, and Video Management Systems. Administer, troubleshoot, and maintain Milestone XProtect, KABA Exos, Lenel, and camera brands like Axis, Samsung, Hikvision, and Dahua. Develop and maintain SQL databases, optimize queries, and conduct system integration, testing, and commissioning for various projects. Provide technical support and training to clients, coordinate with vendors for upgrades, and prepare documentation including design drawings and user manuals. Ensure compliance with industry standards while managing storage systems and access control solutions. Requires 5+ years of experience with these specific technologies and SQL expertise.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in electrical/Electronic Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience as an ELV Application Engineer or a similar role
- Hands-on experience with Milestone XProtect Corporate, Hikvision, Dahua, Genetec, Samsung, Bosch, and other VMS systems
- Hands-on experience with CNL, Vidsys & Advancis and other PSIM systems
- Hands-on experience with Storage, Dell, Resilient, NetApp, and other Storage systems
- Expertise in access control systems such as KABA Exos, Matrix, HID, Maxis, Lenel, Nedab and other Access Control System
- Proficiency in managing camera systems from Axis, Samsung, Hikvision, and Dahua and other Brand cameras
- Advanced knowledge of SQL databases, including database design, query optimization, and troubleshooting
- Strong understanding of networking principles and system integration
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal
Desired Qualifications
- Certifications in relevant ELV systems (e.g., Milestone Certified Integration Engineer, KABA Access Control Certification)
- Familiarity with IT infrastructure, including switches, servers, and storage systems
- Knowledge of emerging technologies in security and surveillance
