Job Summary
Position involves manipulating small components and assembling precision loaded parts, including handling explosive/energetic powders, while maintaining 97% throughput and keeping scrap under two percent. Daily tasks include weighing materials, measuring product dimensions with calipers and micrometers, grading and sorting items by specifications, and inspecting work product to reject non-conformances. You will maintain accurate production records, monitor machine calibration, and utilize the Labor Tracking module multiple times per day. Promptly communicate assembly challenges to the supervisor and adhere to meal and rest break schedules to ensure safe production in a controlled environment.
Required Qualifications
- Must be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident Card Holder
- Must pass initial and subsequent background checks
- Must pass preemployment and subsequent drug and alcohol screenings
- Comply with internal non-disclosure agreement requirements
- Ability to speak, read, write, and comprehend the English language
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Maintain Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearm, and Explosives 'Employee possessor'
- Pass the Valor explosives safety training test and maintain annual qualification
- Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs.
- Must be able to crawl, climb ladders/on and off trucks, pull, squat, and kneel
- Must be able to carry, walk, bend, twist body, stoop
- Must be able to reach, have range of motion, sense of touch, lift up to 5 lbs., push, have depth perception, color vision, hand-eye coordination
- Must be able to sit, have manual dexterity, perform repetitive motion, grip, speak clearly, and hear speech-range
- Must have near vision including clarity of vision at approximately 20 inches or less to work with small objects or read small/fine print
- Must have normal color vision
- Must be available Monday - Thursday, 7 a.m. - 5:30 p.m.
- Must be able to take a mandatory thirty-minute meal break and two fifteen-minute rest breaks daily
- Must wear standard-issued uniform, footwear, and personal protective equipment in the designated workspace
- Must wear cotton clothing under issued uniform
