Job Summary
ELL Paraprofessional providing instructional support to English Language Learners at Sky View Middle School; work with individual students or small groups under a certified teacher, reinforce learning, and assist with learning experiences tailored to language developmental levels. Serve as a key resource for substitutes, maintain confidentiality of student information, participate in professional development, and help document compliance with federal requirements for ELLs. Bilingual abilities (English/Spanish/Portuguese) are preferred. Must be willing to collaborate across classrooms, support students in mastering concepts and vocabulary in English, and adapt to programmatic needs with patience and emphasis on ethical conduct.
Required Qualifications
- Must possess a high school diploma.
- Must possess or be willing to acquire the skills necessary to support needs associated English language learners.
- Experience/training in working with children preferred.
