Job Summary
Academic Instructor (ELL/LEP/Basic Reading) at a Job Corps center. Provide instruction to non-native speakers of English, planning and delivering tasks in grammar, reading, writing, speaking/listening/pronunciation to develop academic, career technical, and independent living skills for career readiness or college. Collaborate with teacher teams, co-teach lessons, use diverse assessment tools and analyze student data, and utilize technology for instruction and communication. Requires a Bachelor’s degree and state teacher certification, plus a valid driver’s license and CPR/First Aid certifications. Exempt, full-time role based in Tucson, AZ.
