Job Summary
In-person English Language Learning tutor position for high school students. Responsibilities include one-on-one or small group instruction, developing lessons, and monitoring student progress. Must have at least 2 years of tutoring/teaching experience with English Language Learning students, and a Bachelor's Degree. Scheduling requires availability between 7:30–2:00 pm two days a week; travel within 30 minutes preferred. Location is Wilmington, DE (19804); two days per week, 6–8 hours total. Travel within a 30-minute radius and strong organization/communication skills are essential.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree
- 2 years tutoring or teaching experience
- 2 years experience with English Language Learning students
- Experience developing lessons and monitoring progress
- Documentation of attendance and material covered
- Effective communication skills (verbal and written)
