Ell and At-Risk Teacher

ELL/At-Risk Teacher at Newton High School responsible for supporting the academic, linguistic, and social-emotional growth of English Learners and at-risk students through targeted instruction and interventions aligned with state and district standards. Responsibilities include collaborating with the ELL Coordinator to adapt materials and assessments, guiding lesson objectives, administering progress assessments and reporting, maintaining student records in SIS, creating a conducive learning environment, upholding classroom management and policies, ensuring translation/interpretation for stakeholders, participating in professional meetings and professional development, planning daily schedules to meet ELL needs, providing after-hours accessibility, leveraging technology as an instructional tool, maintaining confidentiality, safeguarding students and materials, and preparing and delivering lessons in designated locations and times.
