Job Summary
Oversee all small bars operations under the Bar Manager and Bar Assistant Manager, including performing the responsibilities of other non-management bar positions as needed, handling opening/closing duties, delivering high-quality customer service, supervising staff, training, payroll/scheduling, cash handling, and maintaining POS operations in a fast-paced environment. The role involves both indoor and outdoor seasonal duties, work in smoking/non-smoking environments, and ensuring safe, organized service while managing labor and ensuring guest satisfaction. Must maintain relevant licenses and provide excellent customer service and product knowledge of wine, ales and spirits, with the ability to work effectively in a high-volume setting.
Required Qualifications
- Obtain and maintain current food handlers and OLCC/WA liquor license
- Previous bartending experience is preferred
- Previous management experience is preferred but not required
- Excellent knowledge of wine, ales and spirits is required
- Ability to accurately handle cash and work with numbers
- A flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays
- Ability to supervise other employees in an effective manner
- Working knowledge of all company policies and procedures
