Job Summary
Oversees intake, eligibility determination, and enrollment for WIOA, PATH, and related programs; supervises staff performance and file review; ensures accurate documentation and compliance across systems (OSMIS, Salesforce, Pure Michigan Talent Connect). Combines direct service—administering assessments, coordinating referrals, and connecting customers to employment and training resources—with program oversight, performance monitoring, and funder reporting. Develops, implements, and evaluates training curriculum and informational workshops; administers vocational assessments such as CASAS; provides informed referrals to prospective employers, classroom training, service providers, and other programs that lead to employment; and advocates for high-quality, seamless service delivery within the center.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, Education, Business, HR or related field strongly preferred
- Facilitating Career Development (FCD) and/or Business Solutions Professional (BSP) certification preferred
- Interpersonal skills and cultural sensitivity for communicating with employers, participants, funding sources, public, and staff
- Composition skills for reports, grants, and correspondence
