Job Summary
Provide information about workforce services and perform eligibility screenings for customers in East Texas under WIOA guidelines; enter source document data into case management and document storage systems; review customer documents for deficiencies; resolve discrepancies using standard procedures; maintain programmatic compliance and accurate case notes; ensure case files meet program requirements; work as part of a team to achieve goals; demonstrate proactive, culturally sensitive service; bilingual English/Spanish skills preferred to support diverse customers; strong computer skills (Microsoft Office) and ability to manage deadlines; willingness to travel (25% within the region) and to undergo a background check; on-site role with a focus on enrollment and service delivery.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or higher or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- 2+ years of work experience combining elements of training, customer service, working with a culturally-diverse customer base with the ability to be culturally sensitive
- Ability to serve as a role model to customers and motivate them towards achieving goals
- Personal computer literacy required, including effective use of the Internet, e-mail, and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook)
- Ability to meet and/or exceed set goals and objectives
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- A Valid Driver’s License
- Experience with WIOA and TANF workforce development contracts/programs
- Bilingual in English and Spanish
- Background Check Requirements
- California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) compliance information collection and purposes
