Job Summary
Eligibility Specialist (Elk Ridge) performs administrative duties and processes determining eligibility for services, supports enrollment and retention in programs such as ACA Marketplace, AHCCCS, and discount programs; acts as a trainer/mentor on regulatory changes, provides enrollment assistance for public programs, creates informational presentations for CMS guidelines, and delivers high-quality customer service while maintaining confidentiality and compliance with HIPAA; role requires interaction with clients and staff, data entry, reporting, and coordination with internal departments to promote access to healthcare services.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED; 3 years experience working as an Eligibility Assistant, Outreach Worker, or Certified Application Counselor for the Affordable Care Act; Fingerprint Clearance Card; Certified Application Counselor certification; equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered; valid driver’s license and insurance requirements if applicable
