Job Summary

Conduct MassHealth eligibility assessments and enrollment assistance for seniors, adults with disabilities, and caregivers within an assigned territory. Generate SCO and One Care leads by communicating with prospects via phone or in person, completing applications, and troubleshooting issues in the MassHealth Eligibility Verification System. Support membership growth by organizing community outreach events, delivering presentations to provider groups, and facilitating referrals for the Home and Community-Based Waiver. Maintain weekly activity plans and CRM documentation while adhering to CMS and EOHHS compliance guidelines. Bilingual candidates required to serve culturally diverse populations.

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma
  • 1-3 years of professional experience
  • Active Health Producer license for the state of Massachusetts
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field
  • 3-5 years of experience with Public Assistance Programs (i.e., MassHealth; Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program-SNAP, etc.) and Medicare
  • Experience conducting community outreach and public presentations
  • Experience networking/generating leads
  • Strong knowledge of Medicaid and Medicare programs, including eligibility requirements and enrollment policies, with experience providing enrollment assistance
  • Ability to work compassionately and efficiently with diverse populations, including the elderly and their caregivers
  • Experience in a multicultural environment
  • Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Strong presentation skills and experience conveying complex information clearly
  • Outstanding customer service skills with a consultative approach
  • Excellent time management, organizational skills, and attention to detail
  • High degree of planning, problem-solving, and good analytical skills
  • Ability to work independently, collaborate with others, as well as nurture relationships with internal staff and external partners
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
  • Bilingual or multi-lingual
  • Must be able to work under normal office conditions and work from home as required
  • Must be able to work additional hours beyond the standard work schedule

Desired Qualifications
