Job Summary
Lead daily supervision of Eligibility staff by performing detailed in-house reviews and bedside interviews to determine patient viability for State, Federal, County, Medical, or Disability Assistance. Manage work schedules for outbound patient outreach, monitor performance measures, and conduct audits to evaluate employee progress. Directly interact with patients and families to obtain eligibility data, facilitate application processes, and track field visits while documenting account activity in facility systems. Determine potential eligibility for health care coverage per state, federal, and local policies, submit accurate billing information, and maintain strict confidentiality regarding patient health records. Requires some college, two years of related experience, and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications. Full-time Monday through Friday, 8a - 5p schedule in Melbourne, FL.
Required Qualifications
- Some college
- two years related experience
- some combination of education, related experience and/or training
- Willingness to work as part of a management team
- some supervision experience or training
- Advanced understanding of the Medical Assistance application process
- basic understanding of various aspects of eligibility analysis and evaluation process
- Knowledge of multiple state/federal/local program policies and procedures
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
