Job Summary
Review LIHEAP applications and determine client eligibility in accordance with State and CEDA guidelines. Verify supporting documentation, investigate discrepancies, and conduct secondary reviews to address intake or verification errors. Accurately enter, update, and correct client data in internal and State databases, ensuring critical and imminent threat households are processed urgently. Draft clear case notes and complete all required forms, reports, and administrative paperwork. Requires a high school diploma or GED, one year of energy assistance experience, and bilingual skills in English and Spanish. Full-time role with medical, dental, vision, and 401(k) benefits. Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Strong customer service and written communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access, Outlook, SharePoint) and comfort with web-based applications
- Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- High level of confidentiality and professionalism
Desired Qualifications
- One year of experience in Energy Assistance Programs or relevant social services
- Bilingual in English and Spanish (not required)
