Job Summary
Load and unload materials, parts, or products manually or by mechanized means. Inspect materials, products, and containers at each step of the packaging process. Label containers, cartons, prepacks, and master shippers. Wrap protective material around products and assemble cartons, prepacks, master shippers, and pallet boxes. Sort bundles and filled containers, then transfer finished products around the plant and warehouse using hand trucks or pallet jacks. Clean packaging containers and work areas using brooms, mops, and Isopropyl Alcohol. Assist other packing workers and deliver processed units to storage or the next processing stage. Work on a high-speed packing line as part of a team to manage output and quality.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to read, write, and speak English
- Experience with Pallet Jacks, tape guns, tape machines, heat guns, labelers
- Must be able to perform the essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation without posing a direct threat to the individual or others
- Must customarily have a high consciousness for personnel and equipment safety
Desired Qualifications
- Previous experience with Liquid filling Machines, cappers, conveyors, lot coders & shrink tunnels preferred
