Job Summary
Conduct field service work on all types of elevators, VRCs, and Rack and Pinion systems using industry-standard methods. Serve as an onsite expert in electrical, mechanical, structural, application, and estimation while supervising varied personnel and making decisions in the company's best interest. Acquire and maintain necessary tooling to perform technical requirements superlatively while adhering to safety and healthy work standards. Maintain proper appearance and conduct to support company productivity. Requires 4+ years of elevator industry experience, a CET or NEIEP certificate, and TWIC card eligibility.
Required Qualifications
- 4+ years' experience in the elevator industry or equivalent
- Possess or be eligible to get a CET or NEIEP elevator mechanic's certificate
- Possess or be eligible to get a TWIC card
- Elevator knowledge
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and sit or stand for long periods of time
- Strong communication skills, written and verbal
- Computer proficient
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Must be able to pass Drug/alcohol screening and background check
- Proven ability to communicate written /verbal
- Good Verbal/Written Communication Skills
- Knowledge of tools/craft
- Must be dependable
- Organizational Skills
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test and background (DISA) and submit to random and annual drug testing as required
