Job Summary
Perform field service work on all types of elevators, VRCs, and Rack and Pinion systems while representing the company as an expert and professional authority on technical aspects of the industry. Supervise varied personnel, make decisions in the company's best interest, and maintain proper appearance, conduct, and productivity. Acquire and maintain necessary tooling, work in a safe and healthy manner, and demonstrate strong communication and organizational skills. Requires 4+ years of elevator industry experience, a CET or NEIEP certificate, and a TWIC card. Required Qualifications
- 4+ years' experience in the elevator industry or equivalent
- Possess or be eligible to get a CET or NEIEP elevator mechanic's certificate
- Possess or be eligible to get a TWIC card
- Elevator knowledge
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and sit or stand for long periods of time
- Strong communication skills, written and verbal
- Computer proficient
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Proven ability to communicate written /verbal
- Good Verbal/Written Communication Skills
- Knowledge of tools/craft
- Must be dependable
- Organizational Skills
- Must be able to pass Drug/alcohol screening and background check
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test and background (DISA) and submit to random and annual drug testing as required
