Job Summary
Operate elevator at Moscone Center to transport materials between floors; open/close safety gate, manage door actions, and assist passengers with boarding and disembarking ensuring safety. Inform users of load drop-off locations and direct them to correct floors. Report elevator malfunctions to supervisor and follow all safety procedures. Perform other duties as assigned. Must read/write and communicate effectively in English, be dependable and courteous, and able to lift up to 25 lbs. Requires standing and sitting for extended periods and flexibility to work various shifts, including holidays and weekends. Our team emphasizes safety, reliability, and a collaborative culture, with shifts typically scheduled Monday–Friday within 7:00 a.m.–11:00 p.m. ranges and variable weekly hours.
Required Qualifications
- High School Graduate or GED
- Dependable and reliable
- Courteous and friendly
- Able to read, write and communicate effectively in English
- Able to complete assignments with minimal supervision
- Ability to follow instructions
- Able to lift and carry up to 25 lbs
- Requires standing and sitting throughout the shift
- Must be flexible to work any shifts, days and hours, including holidays and weekends
