Job Summary
Load, unload, and transfer grain and grain products for truck, barge, and rail operations. Perform basic housekeeping, cleaning, and maintenance of facilities and equipment. Maintain compliance with all company safety programs while assisting or leading grain handling, storage, and elevator operations. Work in a safety-conscious, quality-controlled environment involving catwalks up to 200 feet, stairs, and confined spaces. Lift up to 75 lbs regularly. Requires high school diploma, one year of grain industry experience, and ability to walk, bend, and climb. Seasonal role with hourly compensation between $16.00 and $18.00.
Required Qualifications
- A high school diploma or GED equivalent
- One (1) year of grain industry experience
- Basic written and verbal communication
- Demonstrated ability to work in a safety conscious environment
- Ability to work in a quality-controlled environment
- Regularly walk
- Regularly required to walk on catwalks at a variety of heights; up to 200 feet with appropriate safety equipment
- Regularly climbs stairs
- Regularly lifts up to 75 lbs
- Regularly enters and works in confined spaces
