Job Summary
Load and unload trucks, operate grain dryers, and receive and grade grain. Use forklifts, bobcats, trucks, and automated systems while performing routine checks, repairs, and upkeep of machinery and facilities. Conduct monthly silo inventory, manage scale weights and paperwork, and maintain the elevator, grounds, and warehouse, including assisting with silo cleanouts. Provide year-round customer support and service. This seasonal role runs from now through December. You must be physically fit to climb heights, able to lift 50lbs, and hold a full G driver's license.
Required Qualifications
- Comfortable with computer/digital technology
- An understanding of electrical panels
- Physically fit to climb heights
- Ability to lift 50lbs
- A general knowledge and skills required to safely operate straightforward plant equipment, and/or machinery
- Full G driver's license
- Conversational English skills, with the ability to follow posted safety rules and safe operating procedures; write and make accurate reporting entries, comprehend simple instructions
- Employment may be contingent upon receipt of an acceptable and job-related background check, motor vehicle report, and/or reference check
