Job Summary
Lead groups of ages 5–10 in after-school tennis programs and assist the lead coach in teaching and overall program management. Transport tennis equipment to and from class, set up the equipment, and take attendance and sign in and sign out students for each session. Attend a two-day training session to familiarize yourself with the program. Classes run 1–1.5 hours between 1 p.m. and 4 p.m., with a maximum of 2–5 hours per week. Candidates must be 19+, live in the Bay Area, and have reliable transportation. Previous tennis experience or USPTA/PTR certification is preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Must be 19+ years old upon application
- Enjoy working with kids and can manage a class in a professional manner
- Flexible, reliable, punctual, professional, and has an enthusiastic approach
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Resilient, positive attitude
- Ability to work independently and within a small team
- Have reliable transportation throughout the East and South Bay and Peninsula
- Willingness to undergo a live scan background check prior to working
- Must complete sending photo and short biography to upload in our website and introduce your experience in sports
- Candidates need to be local to the US or already have a necessary working VISA
- Must be readily available and living in the Bay Area
- Working two or more days per week from Monday through Friday
- A maximum of 2-5 hours per week
Desired Qualifications
- Previous teaching or playing experience in tennis
- USPTA/PTR certification
