Job Summary
Teach beginner-friendly Tennis/Pickleball sessions for elementary students (grades K–5) at various Bay Area school sites, primarily in after-school, summer camp, and Saturday programs. Lead classes of 8–16 students using provided lesson plans, maintain a positive learning environment, and attend a brief training/shadowing session before starting. Responsibilities include taking attendance, managing sign-ins, interacting with parents/school staff, and capturing class photos for documentation. Roles available throughout the school year with part-time hours (2–4 hours/week during the academic year), plus summer camps and weekend clinics. Requirements include being at least 19, reliable transportation, valid US work permit, full vaccination status with TB test and Live Scan background check, and ability to work in-person across Bay Area locations. US work sponsorship not provided; local residency preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 19 years old
- Teaching or playing experience in Tennis is preferred but not mandatory
- USPTA/PTR certification is a plus
- Enjoy working with kids; patient, enthusiastic, and reliable
- Good communication and class management skills
- Must have reliable transportation
- Must have valid work permit to work in USA
- Must be fully vaccinated and willing to undergo a TB test and Live Scan background check before starting work
