Job Summary
Elementary Technology Teacher responsible for delivering technology-integrated instruction, developing and implementing lesson plans aligned with district curriculum, and using technology to strengthen the teaching/learning process. Responsibilities include analyzing student learning styles, conducting ongoing assessments, coordinating with special education staff to modify curricula via IEPs, supervising teacher aides/volunteers, maintaining open communication with parents and staff, and ensuring compliance with TEA guidelines and district policies. Requires a Bachelor's degree, a Texas teaching certificate with endorsements including Bilingual certification, and at least one year of student teaching or approved alternative certification.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university
- Valid Texas teaching certificate with required endorsements or required training for subject and level assigned, including Bilingual certification
- Demonstrated competency in the core academic subject area assigned
- One-year student teaching or approved alternative certification program internship
