Job Summary
Collaborate with teachers to support lesson plan implementation and assist in preparing instructional materials. Provide individual and small group support to students with diverse learning needs, including personal care and specialized accommodations. Assist with classroom and behavior management strategies while fostering an inclusive environment that promotes social-emotional development. Monitor student progress and provide feedback to teachers, attending required professional development and staff meetings. Maintain excellent daily attendance and adapt to changing priorities.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Excellent daily attendance
Desired Qualifications
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field
- Experience working with students, preferably in an educational setting
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively with children and build positive relationships
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Patience, empathy, and a passion for supporting student growth and development
- Flexibility and the ability to adapt to changing needs and priorities
- Knowledge of instructional strategies and interventions
- First Aid and CPR certification
