Job Summary
Elementary School Teacher responsible for co-teaching and delivering a full elementary curriculum in an urban, culturally-responsive classroom. Roles include teaching mathematics, reading/writing (ELA), science, and social studies, plus data analysis with an instructional coach, family partnerships, and participation in weekly meetings and school-wide activities. Requires a bachelor’s degree and NY certification eligibility; 1–2 years of experience preferred. Competitive compensation between $50,000 and $64,700 and comprehensive benefits.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
- NY state certification eligibility requirements (enroll in a teacher preparation program and maintain a GPA of 2.5 or higher if you do not have a degree in education)
