Elementary Teacher - Newton Parrish - (2026/2027 school year)

Plan, organize and implement an appropriate instructional program in an elementary learning environment that guides and encourages students to develop and fulfill their potential for intellectual, emotional and psychological growth and maturation. Meet and instruct assigned classes; maintain a conducive classroom environment; prepare for classes with documented evidence; use a variety of instructional techniques and media; engage in planning and collaboration with staff; communicate effectively with students and parents; uphold district policies and ethics; administer health services as necessary and participate in faculty activities; maintain records and demonstrate professional growth in compliance with state and district regulations. The role requires applying pedagogy in the area of certification, implementing curriculum and assessment strategies, and upholding the district’s educational goals while maintaining open lines of communication with families and the community.
