Job Summary
Teach elementary students in Music at Desert Valley Elementary (Glendale, AZ) for a 9-month term. Develop and implement creative music lesson plans, educate students, and document/share grades and evaluations. Maintain a safe and inviting learning environment, uphold district discipline policies, and foster positive relationships with students, parents, and the community. Adhere to district policies, keep accurate records as required by law, and strive to maintain professional competence. May require travel and could involve work outside normal hours. Specialized teaching assignments may require additional training or certification.
Required Qualifications
- Valid intern, provisional, or standard Arizona Teaching Certificate
- Must possess or obtain an Arizona IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card
- Background clearance check
- May be required to travel to perform work functions
