Elementary Teacher Kindergarten

As a General Education Teacher for Kindergarten at Legacy Traditional Schools, you will inspire students to achieve academic excellence using an accelerated, back-to-basics curriculum. You will implement instructional activities, identify and modify resources to meet diverse learning needs, utilize direct instruction to promote social, physical, and intellectual growth, assess curricular needs and plan improvements, maintain records, communicate effectively with students, parents, and professionals, collaborate with peers, model professional and ethical standards, support ongoing student growth, participate in trainings and staff meetings, and engage in events outside normal hours. The role involves light lifting, movement around the campus, and travel to other campuses as required. Expected qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree, SEI Endorsement/Certification or ability to obtain, and ability to pass a criminal history background check. Preferred qualifications include a current teaching certificate from within the state. Travel between campuses is required from time to time; the position may require standing, sitting for long periods, kneeling, stooping, and long periods of concentration. Legacy Traditional Schools operate in Arizona, Nevada, and Texas and emphasize student success and community engagement.
