Job Summary
Implement direct instruction using an accelerated curriculum including Spalding reading/writing and enVision Math to engage students in meaningful learning. Identify and modify instructional resources to meet the needs of students with varying backgrounds, learning styles, and special needs. Assess changing curricular needs, maintain record keeping, and communicate regularly with students, parents, and professionals. Collaborate with peers to enhance the instructional environment and evaluate each student's learning capabilities. Participate in training, staff meetings, and events outside normal hours as required. Travel between campuses and perform duties involving lifting up to 25 pounds.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- Valid SEI Endorsement/Certification or ability to obtain
- The incumbent in this position will be required to pass a criminal history background check
- Travel between campuses is required from time to time
- This position requires the need to lift objects (up to 25 pounds) on occasion
- Local and in-state travel required
Desired Qualifications
- A current teaching certificate from within the state position is located
