Elementary Teacher - First Grade

Develop and implement lesson plans aligned with district curriculum to support students' intellectual, emotional, physical, and social growth. Conduct ongoing assessments of student achievement through formal and informal testing while analyzing learning styles to tailor instructional activities. Manage classroom behavior under the Student Code of Conduct, supervise teacher aides, and maintain open communication with parents, students, and staff. Assume responsibility for assigned extracurricular activities and participate in faculty meetings and staff development. Complete required reports, compile records, and comply with state and district regulations. This 10-month position at W. M. Bass Elementary includes full benefits and requires a Virginia Teaching License with an elementary education endorsement.
