Elementary Teacher - Fifth Grade

Provide students with appropriate learning activities in the core elementary subject area (fifth grade) to support intellectual, emotional, physical, and social growth. Develop and implement standards-aligned lesson plans, reflect accommodations for diverse learning styles, present content per district policies, plan and use instructional strategies and materials, assess student learning, collaborate with special education staff to modify curricula per IEPs, determine instructional goals with staff, supervise teacher aides and volunteers, integrate technology to enhance learning, foster student growth, and maintain open communication with parents and staff. Maintain a positive classroom environment, manage behavior per Student Code of Conduct, participate in staff development, and comply with school and district regulations. Skills include curriculum knowledge, differentiating instruction, data analysis, classroom management, collaboration, and effective communication.
