Develop and implement curriculum plans; prepare lessons reflecting accommodations for individual student differences; present subject matter per Texas Education Agency guidelines; employ varied instructional techniques and media; cooperate with staff; plan/supervise assignments for teacher aides/volunteers; use technologies in teaching/learning; assist students in analyzing/improving study habits; assess student progress and provide reports; participate in extracurricular activities as assigned; model professional behavior; create a conducive classroom environment; establish discipline per district policies; protect classroom resources; assist in selecting instructional materials; maintain open communication with students/parents; maintain professional relationships; use clear communication; participate in district staff development; demonstrate initiative in professional improvement; comply with regulations; maintain records; attend faculty meetings and serve on committees.
