Job Summary
Plan, organize and present instruction and instructional environments that help students learn subject matter and skills that will contribute to their educational and social development. Manage instructional time and student behavior; follow the instructional framework provided by the District; monitor student performance and provide instructional feedback. Maintain accurate records, interact with students, coworkers, parents, and the community in a fair and equitable manner, and carry out non-instructional duties as assigned. Adhere to laws, policies, and regulations and pursue professional development with evidence of growth.
Required Qualifications
- Degree in education or a related field that will qualify for licensure as a teacher by the North Carolina Department of Public Instruction
