Job Summary
Manage instructional programs for K-12 students through asynchronous web conferencing and synchronous sessions, consulting with learning coaches to ensure program completion. Complete grading, create progress reports, and conduct parent conferences while developing Personal Learning Plans and monitoring assignment completion. Communicate regularly with parents, students, and curriculum specialists to provide feedback, suggest instructional strategies, and coach special projects. Keep student records and data up-to-date, including attendance and contact logs, while consulting with staff to develop enrichment activities and modifications. Participate in state testing, student recruiting, and organize regional field trips to integrate into the curriculum. Devise virtual methods to maintain school community and attend family activities.
Required Qualifications
- Highly qualified and certified to teach Elementary K-5 in Colorado (appropriate to grade level responsibilities)
- Strong technology skills (especially with Microsoft OS and MS Office programs)
- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
- Highly organized and punctual
- Customer focused approach
- High degree of flexibility
- Demonstrated ability to work well in fast paced environment
- Team player track record
- Willingness to travel on occasion for marketing and state testing events (may require occasional overnight travel)
- Ability to work remotely, if necessary
- Ability to work some occasional evening hours, as needed to support some families
- Must be able to use a personal electronic device and an email address for two-step authentication
