Elementary Teacher

Develop and implement curriculum plans with written evidence of preparation, presenting subject matter according to Texas Education Agency and district guidelines. Prepare lessons accommodating individual student differences using varied instructional techniques and media. Plan and supervise teacher aides or volunteers, while employing technology in the teaching/learning process. Assess student accomplishments regularly, provide progress reports, and establish open communication with parents and community members. Maintain classroom control, administer discipline per policies, and take precautions to protect students and facilities. Compile and file all required reports, attend faculty meetings, and participate in staff development programs to demonstrate professional improvement.
