Elementary Teacher Assistant SPED, BAC

Assist the classroom teacher in the care and instruction of students in the classroom by preparing materials and displays, maintaining student discipline, and ensuring student safety. Provide direct care including changing diapers, toileting, feeding, and assisting with self-help skills, as well as blending and cooking foods. Support the teacher with equipment and teaching materials, assist with loading and unloading students, and demonstrate acceptable written and verbal skills while working cooperatively with both staff and students. Follow supervisor directions and perform all other duties as assigned.
