Job Summary
Elementary Teacher position for 5th grade in Bessemer City Central. Plans, organizes, and presents instruction aligned to the district-approved curriculum; uses instructional materials suitable for a range of learners; provides individual and group instruction; communicates with parents and holds conferences; maintains records; participates in PLCs and utilizes Smartboard and technology; collaborates with staff to evaluate and support student growth; requires a Bachelor's degree and full teaching license in Elementary Education; NC standards and Core standards knowledge; health exam, background check, and drug test may be required.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited college/university
- Fully licensed Elementary Teacher (00025)
- Strong background in North Carolina Course of Study/Common Core and Essential Standards
- Official transcripts accepted only
- Health exam, criminal records check, and drug test may be required by offer
