Job Summary
Elementary 4th Grade teacher in Belmont, NC under general supervision delivers instruction aligned to the District approved curriculum; develops instructional materials suitable for verbal and visual instruction; provides individual and group instruction to meet student needs; communicates with parents through conferences and various channels; maintains records and evaluates academic and social growth; utilizes Smartboard and technology; collaborates with staff, participates in PLCs, and supports district policies and professional development activities; performs related duties and supports classroom environment with displays and organized instructional materials; health exam, criminal records check, and drug test may be required prior to employment.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum Education and Experience: Minimum of Bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited college/university
- Must be fully licensed as an Elementary Teacher (00025)
- Strong background in North Carolina Course of Study/Common Core and Essential Standards
