Elementary Teacher - 3rd Grade @ New Hope Elementary

Under general supervision, plans, organizes, and presents instruction and instructional environments for 3rd grade students at New Hope Elementary, following the District-approved curriculum. Teaches course content, develops instructional materials for varied verbal/visual learners, and provides individual and group instruction to meet student needs. Maintains classroom standards, evaluates academic and social growth, communicates with parents, holds conferences on student progress, and collaborates with staff to solve learning problems. Uses technology (Smartboard and other tools), participates in PLCs and district committees, and maintains records and inventory of instructional materials. Requires a Bachelor’s degree and full Elementary Teacher licensure; knowledge of North Carolina standards and the ability to apply them within the school setting. Health exam, criminal records check, and drug test are required if offered a position.
